At AP Safety Solutions, we deliver the EUSR Safety, Health, and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) Gas Safety Passport Course, a comprehensive one-day training programme designed for individuals who require access to operational sites within the gas industry. This includes operatives, supervisors, and managers working on both permanent and temporary sites. Developed in collaboration with industry experts, this course aligns with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines, ensuring a consistent approach to health, safety, and environmental awareness across the utilities sector. Course Structure The SHEA Gas course consists of nine modules—six core modules relevant to all utility industries and three gas industry-specific modules. Successful completion of all modules leads to EUSR registration, valid for five years. Core Modules (Applicable to All Utility Industries): ✅ Understanding Workplace Responsibilities ✅ Understanding the Effects of Work on the Environment ✅ Identifying and Controlling Risks ✅ Common Hazards in the Workplace ✅ Occupational Health Hazards ✅ Responding to Emergencies Gas Industry-Specific Modules: ✅ Highway Working and Excavations ✅ Pressure Regulating Installations ✅ Safety in Premises Upon completion, participants receive a SHEA Gas EUSR card, which is recognised as a CSCS Partner Card, allowing access to construction sites for utilities work. Important Information This course is a passport scheme, confirming an individual’s knowledge and awareness of health, safety, and environmental practices within the gas industry. However, it does not certify technical competence or skilled expertise.
